Droopy McCool, also known as Snit, was a Kitonak musician who achieved brief fame in the Star Wars galaxy.
He was a member of the Max Rebo Band, a popular musical act that performed at Jabba the Hutt's palace on Tatooine. Droopy primarily played the chidinkalu, a wind instrument that produced distinctive, often mournful, sounds.
His time in the spotlight was cut short when the Sail Barge, on which the band was performing, was destroyed during Luke Skywalker's rescue of Han Solo. Droopy, along with most of the band, seemingly perished in the explosion.
While his career was brief and his role relatively minor, Droopy McCool remains a recognizable figure in Star Wars lore, partly due to his distinctive appearance and the memorable scene in Jabba's palace.
