Grandmaster is a fictional character appearing in Marvel Comics. He made his first appearance in The Avengers #69 (October 1969).

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Grandmaster is portrayed by Jeff Goldblum in the film Thor: Ragnarok (2017). This version of the Grandmaster is the eccentric and hedonistic ruler of Sakaar, a planet where unwanted beings and objects from across the cosmos are dumped. He oversees the Contest of Champions, a gladiatorial event featuring captured warriors.

The MCU Grandmaster is presented as one of the Elders of the Universe, an ancient and powerful being with immense cosmic knowledge and abilities. He enjoys manipulating and controlling others for his own amusement.
