Tron is a character from the 1982 film *Tron*, created by Steven Lisberger.
Tron is a security program designed by Alan Bradley to monitor communications between the MCP (Master Control Program) and the outside world. He is loyal to his user and programmed to fight for the users. He is most recognizable by his yellow light cycle and circuitry.
Tron reappears in the 2010 film *Tron: Legacy* and is a key participant in the Grid Iron games. He is once again aligned with Alan Bradley and fighting against the programs within the system.
