Petyr Baelish, often called Littlefinger, was a master manipulator and skilled political player in the HBO series Game of Thrones. Born to a minor noble family in the Fingers, he rose through the ranks of society using his wit, charm, and network of informants.

Baelish served as Master of Coin under Kings Robert Baratheon and Joffrey Baratheon, a position he exploited for personal gain and to further his own ambitions. His financial acumen was undeniable, but his loyalty was always questionable, serving only his own self-interest.

He orchestrated the murder of Jon Arryn, setting in motion the events that led to the War of the Five Kings. His manipulation of key figures like Lysa Arryn, Sansa Stark, and the Tyrell family significantly impacted the power dynamics within Westeros.

Ultimately, Baelish's schemes were exposed in Winterfell. Accused of treason and murder, he was executed by Arya Stark under the judgment of Bran Stark. His death marked the end of a significant threat to the stability of the Seven Kingdoms.
