The Walking Dead

Shane Walsh was a main character in the first two seasons of AMC's television series, The Walking Dead. Portrayed by Jon Bernthal, Shane was Rick Grimes's best friend and partner in the King County Sheriff's Department before the zombie apocalypse.

Believing Rick had died after being shot, Shane took charge of Rick's wife, Lori, and son, Carl, providing them with protection and ultimately beginning a romantic relationship with Lori. He played a crucial role in the group's initial survival, demonstrating a pragmatic and often ruthless approach to problem-solving. This involved difficult decisions, sometimes prioritizing the group's immediate safety over moral considerations.

When Rick unexpectedly reappeared, Shane's relationship with Lori became strained, and his leadership position was threatened.
