Gene Simmons is a fictionalized, animated version of the KISS bassist and vocalist, appearing in the animated film *Scooby-Doo! and KISS: Rock and Roll Mystery* (2015).
In the film, Simmons is portrayed as himself, a member of the iconic rock band KISS. He and the band are invited to perform at the KISS World amusement park on Halloween. However, strange occurrences plague the park, leading the members of KISS and Mystery Incorporated to team up to uncover the supernatural forces at play.
The animated Gene Simmons retains his signature Demon makeup, long tongue, and onstage persona. He is depicted as confident, charismatic, and eager to rock and roll, ultimately working with Scooby and the gang to save the day.
