Joe Trohman is an American musician, best known as the lead guitarist and co-founder of the pop-punk band Fall Out Boy.
Born September 1, 1984, in Hollywood, Florida, Trohman grew up in the Chicago suburbs. He met Pete Wentz during his high school years and they formed Fall Out Boy in 2001. Initially Trohman played drums but switched to lead guitar after a few members came and went.
Besides his work with Fall Out Boy, which has achieved multi-platinum success and numerous awards, Trohman has been involved in other musical projects. He was a member of the heavy metal supergroup The Damned Things and the band With Knives.
Trohman has also ventured into television, co-creating and executive producing the Quibi show "68 Whiskey". His musical talents and creative endeavors extend beyond Fall Out Boy, highlighting his versatility as an artist.
