Louis Tomlinson, born Louis Troy Austin on December 24, 1991, is an English singer and songwriter. He rose to international fame as a member of the boy band One Direction.
Formed on the seventh series of the British television singing competition *The X Factor* in 2010, One Direction achieved global success with hit songs like "What Makes You Beautiful" and "Story of My Life." The band released five studio albums, embarked on numerous world tours, and garnered a devoted fanbase before their hiatus in 2016.
Following One Direction's hiatus, Tomlinson embarked on a solo career. He has released several singles, including "Just Hold On" (a collaboration with Steve Aoki), "Back to You" (featuring Bebe Rexha and Digital Farm Animals), and "Two of Us." His debut solo album, *Walls*, was released in 2020. In 2022 he released his second album, *Faith in the Future*. He has also served as a judge on *The X Factor* and is involved in various philanthropic endeavors.
