Biography:

The Sakaaran are a race of insectoid beings first seen in the comic book Fantastic Four #45 (December 1965) by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.

Originally inhabitants of Sakaar in the Tayo star system, these beings possess a hive-like social structure, with warriors serving a queen. Their exoskeletons give them significant durability and strength. Some Sakaaran are even artificially enhanced for combat.

In the MCU film Guardians of the Galaxy, a Sakaaran warrior is shown serving Ronan the Accuser. While not explicitly identified by name, this version of the Sakaaran is genetically engineered for battle.
