Biography:
Jolt, whose real name is Hallie Takahama, is a fictional superheroine appearing in Marvel Comics. She was created by Kurt Busiek and Mark Bagley, and first appeared in Thunderbolts #1 in 1997.
Hallie gained her powers as a result of experiments conducted by Arnim Zola. These experiments granted her a bio-electric aura which allowed her to generate and manipulate electricity. She could also shrink to a very small size and move at superhuman speeds.
Initially, Jolt was a member of the Thunderbolts, a team of supervillains who disguised themselves as heroes. However, she genuinely embraced heroism, and her conscience often clashed with the team's true motives. She eventually became a dedicated hero, working with various teams and organizations.
Tragically, Jolt was eventually killed in action while trying to protect others, cementing her status as a character who strived for good despite her difficult origins.
