Fandral, as portrayed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), is a member of the Warriors Three, a trio of Asgardian adventurers and loyal companions to Thor. He is known for his swashbuckling charm, bravery, and exceptional swordsmanship.
The character first appeared in the MCU in *Thor* (2011), initially portrayed by Josh Dallas. Due to scheduling conflicts, Dallas was replaced by Zachary Levi for *Thor: The Dark World* (2013) and *Thor: Ragnarok* (2017). Levi embodied the character's more flamboyant and humorous aspects.
Fandral, alongside Hogun and Volstagg, often accompanied Thor on his missions, providing both combat skills and camaraderie. Sadly, Fandral met his end in *Thor: Ragnarok* when Hela decimated the Warriors Three rather early in the film.
