Fenn Rau is a Mandalorian warrior and pilot featured prominently in the animated series *Star Wars Rebels*. He first appears in the episode "Protector of Concord Dawn" (Season 2, Episode 16).
Initially, Rau leads the Protectors of Concord Dawn, a group of Mandalorians sworn to neutrality during the Galactic Civil War. They enforce this neutrality, sometimes violently, by attacking both Imperial and rebel ships passing through their space.
However, after encountering the crew of the *Ghost*, particularly Sabine Wren (also a Mandalorian), Rau begins to question his allegiance. He eventually defects from his neutral stance and joins the Rebel Alliance, offering his expertise and the support of his remaining Protectors.
Rau proves to be a valuable asset to the rebels, providing skilled piloting and combat experience. He plays a significant role in various missions and remains a staunch ally of the Rebellion throughout the series.
