Walter Langkowski is the Marvel character known as Sasquatch. A Canadian scientist specializing in gamma radiation and biophysics, Langkowski sought to emulate the Hulk's transformation. Lacking a controlled gamma source, he exposed himself to radiation while attempting to open a portal to the realm of the Great Beasts.

Instead of becoming a being of pure gamma energy, he transformed into a towering, orange-furred creature resembling the mythical Sasquatch. This transformation granted him superhuman strength, stamina, and durability. He initially struggled to control his Sasquatch form, but eventually gained mastery.

Sasquatch has been a prominent member of the Canadian superhero team Alpha Flight since its inception. He is a valuable asset to the team due to his immense power and scientific expertise. While his transformations are usually triggered intentionally, strong emotions can sometimes cause him to revert or shift back.
