Cloud Car Pilot, also known as Cloud Car Pilot, is a character from the Star Wars universe. Specifically, they are one of the pilots seen patrolling Bespin's skies in twin-pod cloud cars during the events of The Empire Strikes Back.
While the pilots are largely indistinguishable on screen, contributing to the defense of Cloud City against the invading Imperial forces, they play a minor, yet visually memorable, role in the film. Their cloud cars engage the arriving Star Destroyers' TIE fighters, adding to the epic space battle above the gas giant.
First appearing in Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back, the cloud car pilots represent the security force of Bespin, tasked with maintaining order and protecting the Tibanna gas mining operations from external threats. Their efforts, however, prove insufficient against the overwhelming power of the Imperial fleet.
