Lobo is a DC Comics character who first appeared in Omega Men #3 in June 1983. Created by Roger Slifer and Keith Giffen, he is a Czarnian bounty hunter.

The original Lobo was depicted as a villain. However, his characterization shifted in the 1990s, becoming an anti-hero. He is known for his extreme violence, love of dolphins (as he is the only remaining Czarnian), and overall irreverence.

He often appears as a parody of the hyper-violent comic book characters popular at the time of his reinvention. Lobo possesses superhuman strength, speed, and stamina. He also has a regenerative healing factor that makes him nearly indestructible.
