Herman Schultz, portrayed by Bokeem Woodbine, appears as Shocker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), specifically in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017). This version differs significantly from the comic book character.
Schultz is initially part of Adrian Toomes' (Vulture's) crew, a group that salvages Chitauri technology left over from the Battle of New York. He is not the original Shocker; that role is initially held by Jackson Brice. After Brice is accidentally killed by Toomes, Schultz inherits the Shocker gauntlets, becoming the new Shocker.
