Berserker, also known as Elsa Bloodstone, is a relatively recent character in the Marvel Universe, debuting in 2023's Bloodline: Daughter of Blade. While sharing the Bloodstone name with the more established monster hunter, Elsa Bloodstone, Berserker possesses a vastly different origin and powerset.

She is Brielle Brooks, the daughter of Blade and Safron Caulder. Brielle manifests drastically different powers than her father, including the ability to summon a mystical suit of armor, manipulate shadows, and enter a rage-fueled 'Berserker' state granting her enhanced strength, speed, and durability. These powers are tied to a Klyntar symbiote that chose her as a host, granting her abilities exceeding even those of traditional symbiote hosts.

Initially, Brielle struggles to control her powers and the symbiote's influence, leading to destructive outbursts. Her story primarily revolves around mastering her abilities, reconciling her complex family history, and learning to control the symbiote's influence. She is a member of the Bloodline team consisting of other children of monster hunters, and works to protect the world from supernatural threats.
