Biography:
Dennis the Menace, a mischievous but good-hearted boy, is a character created by D.C. Thomson for the British comic, The Beano. He first appeared in issue number 452, dated March 17, 1951.
Often portrayed wearing a black and red striped jumper, Dennis is known for his unruly black hair, his dog Gnasher (a troublesome Abyssinian wire-haired tripe hound), and his constant clashes with his long-suffering neighbor, Walter Softly.
Despite his penchant for pranks and causing chaos, Dennis is ultimately depicted as a well-meaning child with a strong sense of loyalty to his friends and a deep affection for his pet. He is a central figure in The Beano, remaining a popular and enduring character.
