The Eradicator is a DC Comics character, first appearing in Action Comics Annual #2 in 1989.
Originally a Kryptonian weapon designed to preserve Kryptonian culture by eliminating foreign influences, the Eradicator takes various forms throughout its history. It is often depicted as a humanoid construct composed of energy and wearing a Kryptonian-inspired suit.
The Eradicator has a complex relationship with Superman. It can be both an enemy and an ally, sometimes even impersonating Superman or acting as a protector of Kryptonian ideals in his absence. The Eradicator frequently interprets its directives in extreme ways, leading to conflict.
