Ozymandias, also known as Adrian Veidt, is a fictional character from the DC Comics universe, primarily known from the graphic novel Watchmen, which was subsequently adapted into a movie.
He first appeared in Watchmen #1 (1986), created by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. A child prodigy who inherited a large fortune, Veidt renounced his wealth to travel the world, seeking enlightenment and inspiration from historical figures.
Upon his return, he secretly used his intellectual and physical prowess to become a successful businessman and philanthropist, all while plotting a grand scheme to save humanity from self-destruction.
