Ronin the Accuser, often called Ronin the Wrong, is a fictional character appearing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He is a Kree warrior introduced in the film Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), portrayed by Lee Pace.
Born Ronan, he is a radical Kree fanatic, driven by an intense hatred for the Xandarians, stemming from the ancient Kree-Xandar War. He refuses to acknowledge the peace treaty signed between the two empires.
Ronan initially works alongside Thanos in exchange for Thanos' promise to obliterate Xandar. He seeks the Power Stone to achieve this goal. However, fueled by his own ambitions, Ronan ultimately betrays Thanos, intending to use the Stone for himself and destroy Xandar independently.
His quest for power leads him into conflict with the Guardians of the Galaxy. Ultimately, he is defeated when the Guardians combine their efforts to control the Power Stone, and Star-Lord disintegrates him. His actions and ideologies represent extreme Kree nationalism and the dangers of unchecked fanaticism.
