The White Walkers, also known as the Others, are a supernatural threat in the HBO TV show *Game of Thrones*. These ancient humanoid creatures are primarily known for their icy appearance and ability to raise the dead as wights.

Their first appearance is in the prologue of the very first episode, "Winter Is Coming," where they are seen attacking members of the Night's Watch.

They are led by the Night King and pose a grave threat to the Seven Kingdoms, as they march south from beyond the Wall bringing winter and death.
