The Yellow Ranger is a recurring character in the *Power Rangers* franchise, adapted from the *Super Sentai* series.

The first Yellow Ranger appeared in *Mighty Morphin Power Rangers*, which premiered in 1993. This character was originally portrayed by Thuy Trang as Trini Kwan. The series used footage from the Japanese *Super Sentai* series *Zyuranger*, where the Yellow Ranger was male. In *Mighty Morphin Power Rangers*, the change was made to have a female Yellow Ranger.

As Trini, the Yellow Ranger was known for her martial arts skills and intelligence, and she played a crucial role in the team's battles against Rita Repulsa and her forces. She exited the show in the second season.
