Dave Lizewski, known as Kick-Ass, is a fictional character who first appeared in the 2010 film Kick-Ass. He is portrayed by Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
Lizewski is a teenager who decides to become a real-life superhero, despite having no powers, training, or particular skills. He purchases a wetsuit online and dubs himself "Kick-Ass."
Initially, Kick-Ass is clumsy and ineffective, quickly getting injured. However, his actions inspire others to become masked vigilantes, leading him to team up with Hit-Girl and Big Daddy.
The character also appeared in the 2013 sequel, Kick-Ass 2, where Taylor-Johnson reprised the role.
