Anya Corazón, also known as Spider-Girl and Spider-Woman, is a Marvel Comics superheroine. She isn't directly related to Peter Parker, but instead gained her powers through a ritual by the Spider Society. This granted her enhanced strength, speed, agility, and a durable exoskeleton that can be summoned and dismissed at will.

Originally, Anya was a typical teenager before being caught in the middle of a conflict between the Spider Society and the Sisterhood of the Wasp. Severely injured, she was offered aid by Miguel Legar, a member of the Spider Society, who imbued her with spider-like abilities. Her powers initially included only her exoskeleton and enhanced senses, forcing her to rely on strategy and resourcefulness.

She began her superhero career as Araña, working under the Spider Society. However, after discovering corruption within the organization, Anya eventually strikes out on her own, choosing the name Spider-Girl to honor Spider-Man. Later, she adopts the mantle of Spider-Woman, though still primarily uses her Spider-Girl identity in most appearances.

Anya has been a member of various teams, including the Young Allies and the Avengers Academy. She's known for her intelligence, determination, and fierce loyalty to her friends. Her powers have evolved over time, adding standard spider-abilities like wall-crawling.
