Biography:
Wild Dog, portrayed by Rick Gonzalez, is a vigilante character in the Arrowverse television series, primarily appearing in "Arrow". His first appearance was in Arrow, Season 5, Episode 2.
Born Rene Ramirez, Wild Dog is a former U.S. Navy sailor who experienced a traumatic event that changed his life. His wife was tragically killed as a result of his connection to drug trafficking, sending him into a spiral. He eventually loses custody of his daughter.
Driven by a desire for justice and fueled by guilt, Rene takes to the streets of Star City as a masked vigilante, employing hockey masks, a baseball bat, and handguns in his fight against crime. He possesses street smarts and a raw, unfiltered approach to crime-fighting, but lacks formal training at first.
Eventually, Wild Dog is recruited by Oliver Queen/Green Arrow to join his team, where he receives training and refines his skills. He becomes a valuable asset, although his rebellious nature and occasional impulsiveness lead to conflict.
