Morph, also known as Kevin Sydney, is a mutant character appearing in Marvel Comics, primarily associated with the X-Men. He debuted in Giant-Size X-Men #1 (1975) as Changeling, a villain working for Professor X.

Originally, Changeling died shortly after his introduction, sacrificing himself to save the X-Men. However, in the 1990s animated series, X-Men, the character was reimagined as Morph, a much more lighthearted and central figure within the team. This version possessed the power of shapeshifting, able to mimic any person, animal, or object with incredible accuracy. His personality was cheerful and often comedic, using his abilities for pranks and providing levity to the team.

The animated series cemented Morph's popularity, leading to his integration into the main comic book canon. His return in the comics involved retcons explaining his survival and subsequent brainwashing. Since then, Morph has become a recurring, if sometimes tragic, figure within the X-Men universe, grappling with his past trauma and the consequences of his shapeshifting abilities.
