Ezio Auditore da Firenze, a central figure in the Assassin's Creed video game series, is a Florentine nobleman who lives during the Italian Renaissance. In Assassin's Creed: Revelations, a seasoned Ezio embarks on a quest to uncover the secrets of the Assassin Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad.

Now in his 50s, Ezio travels to Constantinople, a melting pot of cultures and intrigue. He seeks the hidden library of Altaïr in Masyaf, requiring him to find five keys scattered throughout the city. His journey leads him into conflict with the Byzantine Rite Templars, who are also after Altaïr's knowledge for their own nefarious purposes.

Revelations showcases a more mature and reflective Ezio. He grapples with his past, his legacy, and the burden of his actions. The game explores themes of mentorship, the weight of responsibility, and the acceptance of mortality. He learns much more about the Isu and Pieces of Eden. Ezio eventually discovers the library and the message Altaïr left behind for future generations.
