Biography:

Misty is a prominent character in the Pokémon animated TV series, first appearing in the very first episode, "Pokémon, I Choose You!".

She is a headstrong and somewhat temperamental young girl who initially joins Ash Ketchum on his Pokémon journey as a traveling companion. Her main motivation is to get Ash to repay her for damaging her bicycle.

Misty is known for her deep knowledge and love of Water-type Pokémon. She eventually reveals her goal to become a world-renowned Water Pokémon Master.

Later in the series, Misty returns to her hometown of Cerulean City to fulfill her duties as the Cerulean Gym Leader, one of four sisters in charge of the gym.
