Frederick J. Dukes, known as the Blob, is a Marvel Comics character, primarily associated with the X-Men. He debuted in The X-Men #3 in 1964.
Dukes possesses the mutant power to be virtually immovable when he wills it. His immense size and dense body provide him with incredible resistance to physical impact. He can also increase his mass, making him even more difficult to move.
