Biography:
Scott Lang, portrayed by Paul Rudd, is Ant-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, specifically during the events of Captain America: Civil War. He is a former thief with a good heart, recruited by Hank Pym to don the Ant-Man suit and use Pym Particles to shrink or grow in size.
Prior to the conflict, Lang assisted Pym and Hope van Dyne in preventing Darren Cross from weaponizing the Pym Particle technology. He is brought into the Avengers' internal dispute by Captain America to provide support and disrupt Team Iron Man.
During the Leipzig/Halle Airport battle, Lang debuts his Giant-Man form, growing to a massive size and becoming a significant obstacle for Iron Man's team. His involvement results in his capture and imprisonment in the Raft. He is eventually freed.
