Ice is a DC Comics superheroine, known for her ice-based powers and often associated with the Justice League International. Her civilian identity is Tora Olafsdotter, an ice elemental from a hidden Norse tribe.
Ice first appeared in Justice League International #7 (October 1987). She was initially naive and inexperienced with the outside world, but quickly developed into a capable and compassionate hero. She possesses the ability to generate and manipulate ice, as well as withstand extreme cold.
Throughout her comic book history, Ice has formed close relationships with other heroes, most notably Fire (Beatriz da Costa), with whom she shared a strong friendship. She has also had a significant romantic relationship with Green Lantern (Guy Gardner).
