Antonio "Tony" Montana is a fictional character, primarily known as the protagonist of the 1983 film *Scarface*. He is portrayed by Al Pacino.
Montana is a Cuban refugee who arrives in Miami in 1980 during the Mariel boatlift. He quickly ascends the ranks of a drug cartel, displaying ruthless ambition and violence.
Initially working as a dishwasher, Tony seizes opportunities, involving himself in drug deals and eventually eliminating his rivals. He becomes a major cocaine distributor, amassing wealth and power. However, his paranoia and excessive drug use lead to his downfall.
