Gladiator, whose real name is Kallark, is a fictional character appearing in Marvel Comics. He is the Praetor of the Shi'ar Imperial Guard, serving as the personal protector of the Shi'ar ruler.
Kallark is a Strontian, a race possessing immense physical strength, speed, and invulnerability. His powers are directly tied to his confidence; if he doubts himself, his abilities diminish. He has demonstrated the ability to fly, project heat beams from his eyes, and possesses super-breath.
Gladiator is fiercely loyal to the Shi'ar throne and upholds his duty with unwavering dedication. While he has clashed with Earth's heroes on occasion, he is generally portrayed as an honorable figure.
