Michael Myers is a fictional character from the Halloween horror franchise. He is a masked murderer known for his relentless and seemingly supernatural pursuit of his victims.
His first appearance was in the 1978 film Halloween, directed by John Carpenter. In this film, a young Michael murders his sister and is subsequently institutionalized. Years later, he escapes and returns to his hometown of Haddonfield to terrorize and kill again.
