Stanley Martin Lieber, known professionally as Stan Lee, was a prominent figure within Marvel Comics. He was not a character in a movie.
Lee served as editor-in-chief, publisher, and chairman of Marvel Comics during its rise from a small division to a large multimedia corporation.
Alongside artists like Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, he co-created iconic comic book characters. Among them are Spider-Man, the Hulk, Doctor Strange, the Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Daredevil, Thor, the X-Men, and many others. He helped introduce complex characters with realistic problems.
