Rocksteady is a character from the *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles* franchise, most notably appearing in the animated series. He debuted in the first season episode "Turtle Tracks" which aired in 1987.
Originally a human thug named Anton Zeck, he was transformed into a humanoid rhinoceros by Shredder, becoming Rocksteady. This was achieved through the use of mutagen, in a similar way to how the Turtles were mutated.
Rocksteady is generally portrayed as dim-witted and physically imposing, serving as one of Shredder's primary henchmen alongside Bebop. Their incompetence often foils Shredder's plans more than the Turtles' intervention.
