Adrien Agreste is a fictional character in the animated television series Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. He is a teenage student attending Collège Françoise Dupont in Paris.

Adrien lives a somewhat isolated life due to his demanding fashion designer father, Gabriel Agreste. Before attending school, he was homeschooled and largely confined to his home. He is portrayed as kind, charming, and somewhat naive.

Secretly, Adrien is the superhero Cat Noir (Chat Noir in French). He transforms into this alter ego using the magical ring called the Cat Miraculous and a small, cat-like creature known as a Kwami named Plagg. Cat Noir partners with Ladybug to protect Paris from the villain Hawk Moth (who is secretly Gabriel Agreste).

As Cat Noir, Adrien's personality shifts to become more outgoing and flirtatious, particularly towards Ladybug, unaware that she is his classmate Marinette Dupain-Cheng. He wields the power of destruction and is a key component in the team's success.
