Cat Noir is a central character from the animated television series Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. His civilian identity is Adrien Agreste, a popular and kind-hearted teenage fashion model.

Adrien transforms into Cat Noir using the magical Cat Miraculous, which is inhabited by a creature called a Kwami named Plagg. When transformed, Adrien gains enhanced strength, agility, and speed. His signature weapon is a staff.

Cat Noir fights alongside Ladybug to protect Paris from the villain Hawk Moth. He possesses the power of destruction, known as "Cataclysm," which allows him to destroy anything he touches. However, this power can only be used once per transformation and afterwards he detransforms.

Unaware that Ladybug is his classmate Marinette, Cat Noir harbors romantic feelings for her, often expressing his affections through playful flirting and cheesy puns. He provides comic relief and a loyal partnership to Ladybug, though his attempts at heroism sometimes create unintended consequences.
