King Zhou, also known as King Zhou of Shang, is a recurring character based on the historical figure of Di Xin, the last king of the Shang dynasty in ancient China. His story is heavily embellished in the classic novel *Investiture of the Gods* (Fengshen Yanyi), which serves as the primary source for many movie and TV adaptations.
