Biography:
Aldrich Killian, portrayed by Guy Pearce, is a key antagonist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Iron Man 3 (2013). He is a brilliant but disabled scientist who feels slighted by Tony Stark after a brief encounter years prior.
Driven by resentment, Killian founds Advanced Idea Mechanics (AIM) and develops the Extremis virus, a regenerative technology intended to enhance human capabilities. However, Extremis proves highly unstable, leading to explosive side effects and making Killian a formidable threat.
