Lavertus is a character from the LEGO Legends of Chima animated television series. He is an elderly lion who was formerly a respected member of the Lion Tribe and an accomplished warrior.
Long ago, Lavertus embarked on a quest to seek the legendary Triple-Chi Armor. During his search, he encountered a mystical pool that transformed him into a creature with the head of a lion, the body of a gorilla, and the tail of a scorpion. This transformation granted him immense strength, but also caused him to lose his memory and become a wild, unpredictable being.
For years, Lavertus roamed the land, his true identity forgotten. He became known as a dangerous beast until he was eventually discovered and recognized by Laval, the prince of the Lion Tribe. Through a specific ritual and the power of Chi, Laval and his friends managed to restore Lavertus' memory and partially revert him to his original form. Although he retained some aspects of his transformed state, Lavertus rejoined the Lion Tribe and used his unique abilities to aid them in their battles.
