Ghost, also known as Ava Starr, is a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). She first appeared in the movie *Ant-Man and The Wasp* (2018).
Ava suffers from "quantum instability" due to an experiment that killed her parents. This condition causes her to phase uncontrollably, experiencing intense pain. She was taken in and trained by S.H.I.E.L.D. as a special operative, becoming the assassin codenamed Ghost.
