Biography:

Yelena Belova is a character within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), debuting in the film Black Widow (2021). She is portrayed by Florence Pugh.

Trained in the Red Room as a Black Widow assassin, similar to Natasha Romanoff, Yelena possesses exceptional combat skills and espionage capabilities. She initially believed her work served a noble purpose. She later discovers the Red Room's true nature and works to dismantle it.

Following the events of Black Widow, Yelena is manipulated by Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. She is contracted to target Clint Barton, believing him responsible for Natasha's death. She eventually learns the truth and is likely to become a key figure in future MCU storylines, especially with the new Thunderbolts team.
