Franky, also known as "Cyborg Franky," is a key member of the Straw Hat Pirates in the anime and manga series One Piece. He first appeared in the Water 7 Arc.
Before joining the Straw Hats, Franky was the leader of the Franky Family, a group of shipwrights and bounty hunters. He is a cyborg, having heavily modified his body with various mechanical enhancements after a traumatic accident.
His skills as a shipwright and mechanic were vital to the creation of the Straw Hats' current ship, the Thousand Sunny. He serves as the ship's carpenter and is responsible for its maintenance and repairs.
