Aneka is a character in Marvel Comics, most notably associated with the Dora Milaje, Wakanda's all-female special forces and personal guard to the Black Panther.
Originally a highly skilled Dora Milaje warrior, Aneka grew disillusioned with Wakandan traditions, particularly regarding justice and its treatment of women. This led her to become disillusioned.
Aneka, alongside fellow Dora Milaje Ayo, stole advanced prototype Midnight Angel armor. This armor granted them enhanced strength, speed, and flight capabilities, along with advanced weaponry.
As Midnight Angels, Aneka and Ayo operated outside the authority of the Black Panther, pursuing their own sense of justice and protecting Wakanda in ways they felt T'Challa was failing to do. They often came into conflict with him due to their differing ideologies and methods.
Aneka's character is defined by her strong sense of justice, her loyalty to Wakanda, and her willingness to challenge established authority in pursuit of what she believes is right. She also has a romantic relationship with Ayo.
