Taneleer Tivan, known as The Collector, is an Elder of the Universe in Marvel Comics. He first appeared in Tales to Astonish #53 (November 1963). Driven by a need to collect and preserve lifeforms and artifacts from across the cosmos, The Collector amasses a vast and often dangerous collection.

A special LEGO version of The Collector was made available as a Comic-Con Exclusive at SDCC. This LEGO minifigure, featuring Taneleer Tivan, was highly sought after by collectors.

The Comic-Con Exclusive The Collector LEGO minifigure was available at SDCC and a special version was provided as a SDCC gift for attendees. It is a valuable part of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes line.
