Bride, often referred to as "The Bride" or by her birth name Beatrix Kiddo, is the protagonist of Quentin Tarantino's two-volume film, Kill Bill.

She is a former member of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad (DIVAS), a group of elite assassins led by her former lover and boss, Bill. Her codename within the group was Black Mamba.

On the day of her wedding to another man, Bill and the DIVAS attacked and brutally murdered everyone present, leaving Bride for dead. She survived, but was left in a coma for four years.

Upon awakening, Bride embarks on a violent quest for revenge against Bill and each member of the DIVAS for the betrayal and the loss of her unborn child. Her journey takes her across the globe, from America to Japan and Mexico, as she systematically eliminates each target.

Her fighting skills are exceptional, making her a formidable opponent. She is proficient in various martial arts styles and skilled with swords, most notably a Hattori Hanzo katana.
