Shock is one of the mischievous trick-or-treaters from Halloween Town in Tim Burton's "The Nightmare Before Christmas."

Along with Lock and Barrel, she is a loyal follower of Oogie Boogie, often assisting him in his villainous schemes.

Shock, the only female of the trio, is distinguished by her purple skin, long, pointed nose, and witch-like attire, complete with a tall, pointed hat. She's voiced by Catherine O'Hara.

Despite her youthful appearance, Shock is cunning and devious, possessing a sharp wit and a talent for manipulation. She contributes to the kidnapping of Sandy Claws, carrying out Oogie Boogie's plan.

While ultimately loyal to Oogie Boogie, Shock occasionally displays a degree of independence and initiative, adding a layer of complexity to her character. She ultimately aids Jack Skellington in rescuing Sandy Claws.
