Biography:
Pang De, courtesy name Lingming, was a general serving under various warlords during the late Eastern Han dynasty and the Three Kingdoms period of Chinese history. He initially served under Ma Teng and Ma Chao, and distinguished himself in battles against Cao Cao in the Liang Province.

Following Ma Chao's defeat and flight to Hanzhong, Pang De was left behind, along with his family, and subsequently surrendered to Cao Cao. Cao Cao valued his bravery and martial skill, appointing him as a general under his command. Pang De expressed a strong desire to avenge the deaths of his former lords in Liang Province.

Pang De is most famous for his service at the Battle of Fancheng against Guan Yu. He fearlessly led Cao Cao's forces and even shot Guan Yu with an arrow. Despite being captured after Fancheng was flooded, Pang De refused to surrender to Guan Yu, declaring his allegiance to Cao Cao. He was subsequently executed, earning him posthumous recognition for his loyalty and courage.
